I designed, prepared, and submitted advertisements for Ty's East Street Auto for printing in the weekly local newspaper, The Dedham Times, with a circulation of several thousand individuals and households. I created a template design in Adobe Illustrator that would change in illustration/background pattern/text/color scheme per submission. Some elements of the template design do not change per submission such as background pattern colors will always be black on grey and the logo will always be placed in the same location. Also, the business name and contact information will always be in the same typeface. The ad size is 6"w x 3.25"h and the newspaper pages are 5 columns wide, (with each column equaling 2"), and 15" high, (not counting margins). The final artwork files are sent as cmyk PDFs.
